The view from the scaffold on the second story of our floating home. Its an interesting view of the boat I hadn't seen before in the 30+ years of the constrction. We are busy working on fixing the outside rot on our home while the weather holds. I wish I could spend the time working on the boat instead, but every few days we take it out for a couple of hours. Its very relaxing just motoring around the island, whenever we are out there we have the desire to just keep going. It keeps me more motivated to complete the outfitting.

We finished our two piece dingy that bolts together in the middle about the same time we put the sea falcon in the water. If rows well and sails well also with a sprit sail.

On our third trip out of the dock we had we a collision with the end of the u-bolts holding the fire standpipe to the walkway. We aimed out poorly and the current carried us into the walkway where the aforementioned bolt popped a fender and tore it off the boat and said bolt also put the gouge shown here in the hull. Fortunately it was above the waterline, and did not take me long to repair. Anyway I learned my lessons, and have not had any problems coming or going since. I also installed wood pad blocks over the bolts on the walkway so they are not so boater unfriendly.
