Early 1989, work resumes. The shelter reconstructed, ready to start the cabin construction after some grinding, and installing the ballast. (Maybe this is 1990, seems like it took about a year to collect all the ballast). You can see the clear plastic hose clamped between the two planks. This is filled with water to form a very long "level" to survey how the hull is sitting in the cradle. A few adjustments to the wedges on the bilge bocks brought the hull to level, simplifing later measurments.
