Finally attached the custom anchor roller mounts and anchor. I have a little teak platform on top of the dual anchor roller fitting I fabricated. I had the local welder in the yard where I had the boat before launch do the welding, as he can do a much cleaner job with his $6,000 water cooled tig torch and 20 years of experience than I can do with my $300 stick welder.
Have UHMW chain guides and chafe guard blocks anywhere the anchor or chain would rub to prevent chafing on the hull or deck. The red and green LED running lights for motoring are attached to the sides of the anchor platform, with wiring hidden internally.
To finish up the year, we were able to use up airline miles for a trip, and spent the winter in Buenos Aires
